Defined Contract Periods
By contracting a PrepMD Professional Field Associate for a specific need and timeframe, you are able to manage headcount without approval for a full time equivalent hire, quickly backfill unexpected vacancies on your team, or rapidly build capacity in anticipation of product launches or market development sales activities.
Utilizing PrepMD Professionals’ Field Associates in a defined contract period also allows employers the opportunity to further evaluate and assess the overall fit of the Field Associate for eventual conversion to direct employment based on the needs of your team. Our contracts provide for flexible conversion windows within the contracting period allowing you to seamlessly convert contracted PrepMD Professionals into direct employees without interrupting your teams workflow.
PrepMD Professionals provides you with a trained, assessed and validated candidate pool. All PrepMD Professionals Field Associates have been validated for employment through one of two pathways:
- Successful completion of the PrepMD training program.
- Previous relevant cardiac rhythm management or E.P. related medical device training and /or job experience that has been validated by PrepMD faculty. Validation includes assessment testing and successful completion of follow up sustainment training.
You contract directly with PrepMD Professionals for your specific staffing needs.

Meet Some of Our Field Associates
Field Associate, Delaware
This PrepMD Professional Field Associate is a Registered Nurse with previous experience working as a clinical representative for a major CRM device manufacturer as well as running a private practice device clinic. After reaching out to PrepMD to express her desire to re-enter the industry in a new geography, she underwent PrepMD’s Basic Skills Assessment for the CRM Professional and was directed into a refresher training program. While undergoing her training she was hired as a PrepMD Professionals Field Associate to work with a client who had increasing service demands but did not have approval for a direct hire. Upon completion of her 6 month field associate contract, she was converted into a direct employee where she continues to add value to her team on a daily basis.
Field Associate, West Virginia
This PrepMD Professional Field Associate was a recent Biomedical Engineer graduate who was striving to gain employment in the medical device industry. After applying to and enrolling in the PrepMD training program, she was subsequently hired by PrepMD Professionals. As a Field Associate she now works as a field engineer supporting clinical trials and device operations for an established Cardiac Rhythm Management team.

After completing his first contract period as a PrepMD Professionals Field Associate, he extended for a follow-on contract allowing him to take on increased responsibility with his client company and stay in his desired geography.
