Matt O’Neal

Matt O’Neal, Co-Founder and CEO of PrepMD, launched the company in 2009, transforming it from its roots in training to a premier provider of cardiac healthcare solutions, fueled by his dedication to superior patient care. With a rich 44-year background in the healthcare and medical device industry, Matt’s journey includes impactful roles in sales, training, recruitment, and management at leading firms such as Cardiac Pacemakers Inc., and Boston Scientific. He was instrumental in bringing to market pivotal technologies, including the first implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), the initial transvenous ICD therapies, and Anti-Tachycardia (ATP) device applications. At Boston Scientific, as Vice President of Sales, he was at the forefront of creating innovative training programs and played a key role in the early development of simulation training for Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), enhancing clinical proficiency. His contribution extends to serving on the Biomedical Advisory Board at the Georgia Institute of Technology, showcasing his unwavering commitment to the advancement of cardiac care.

General Manager of Education & Training

Greg Lisi, CCDS, CEPS

Greg spearheads PrepMD’s educational initiatives, playing an essential role in delivering top-notch corporate solutions as well as an expansive portfolio of healthcare and direct-to-consumer training programs. These areas are integral to the success and growth of the organization. With 23 years in the Cardiac medical device space, his experience covers clinical, sales, training, and management roles. At Boston Scientific, as a Regional Manager, he effectively led a sales and clinical team, while also managing his business area. Greg has been instrumental in mentoring new sales and clinical professionals. Prior to this, he served as a Military Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army for eight years, handling leadership, strategic planning, and operations, which honed his skills in managing complex training in dynamic environments.

General Manager of Healthcare Solutions

Matt Wilson, CCDS

Matt joined PrepMD in 2018 and is now serving as the General Manager of Healthcare Solutions, focusing on enhancing patient care and providing advanced solutions to cardiac device clinics. With 16 years of experience, including a critical leadership role in expanding PrepMD’s remote monitoring solutions, his extensive tenure at Boston Scientific’s Cardiac Rhythm Management division and certification as an IBHRE®-Certified Cardiac Device Specialist equip him with a deep understanding of industry challenges. This enables him to develop effective strategies. A former U.S. Army Ranger and Infantry Captain, Matt’s leadership is key to addressing complex healthcare issues. He resides in Hingham, MA, with his wife and their three children.

Jack Collier

Jack is a versatile and enthusiastic software engineering leader responsible for leading PrepMD’s incredibly talented technology team to craft the best remote cardiac care software platform available in the world. Utilizing a pragmatic approach that focuses on delivering value quickly, Jack is a master at balancing business goals with engineering best practices using agile principles. With more than two decades of experience building and leading agile software engineering teams, Jack is passionate about leveraging technology to solve challenging problems in healthcare.

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Satya Behara

Indian Institute of Technology Madras-
Satya leads overall marketing strategy, fostering growth and developing key partnerships, while advancing a cohesive company strategy. He was instrumental in building the marketing division and has led the development and launch of our Digital Training and In-Clinic Solutions. Boasting over 16 years of experience in global marketing and product management within the medical device industry, he is adept in both upstream and downstream marketing strategies. Satya holds an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. His rich career includes pivotal global marketing roles at major medical device companies like Smith & Nephew and Medtronic, where he focused on developing new products, crafting marketing strategies, and executing market launch plans. Additionally, his tenure at IBM provided him with valuable technology and business analysis skills.

Vice President of Product & Business Development

Greg O’Neal, CCDS, CEPS

As the VP of Product and Business Development at PrepMD, Greg excels in developing custom, effective solutions for cardiac device clinics, drawing on his extensive industry knowledge and experience. He has played a crucial role in formulating and implementing the strategy for the PrepMD Remote Monitoring Service and Software. Greg’s clinical expertise, patient-oriented approach, and systematic methodology have significantly contributed to the development of our data management platforms, making it adept at meeting a wide range of clinical requirements. With dual IBHRE® certifications in CCDS and CEPS, Greg’s over 9 years of clinical and leadership experience in the remote monitoring, CRM and EP fields is evident. His active participation in more than 500 CIED implants and 150 ablations, coupled with his ongoing work with various cardiac device clinics, showcases his deep-seated expertise in the field.

Director of Training and Education

Kate Miller, CCDS, CEPS

As the Director of Training and Education at PrepMD, Kate leads the focus on healthcare and consumer training solutions. Holding dual IBHRE® certifications in CCDS and CEPS, her expertise is substantial. Kate’s background includes being a field clinical specialist for Biotronik in New England, where she was responsible for training new employees and managing her team’s daily activities. A PrepMD alum and Academic Achievement Award winner, Kate also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University. This blend of BME education and field experience provides her with a deep understanding essential for upskilling clinical teams as well as launching successful careers in the medical device industry.

Director of Strategic Initiatives

Katie Reddy

As the Director of Strategic Initiatives at PrepMD, Katie effectively utilizes her vast network to forge strategic alliances with medical device manufacturers and healthcare providers in the cardiac space. Katie played a pivotal role in expanding PrepMD’s corporate training solutions portfolio. With a rich background spanning over 15 years in the medical device industry, her experience encompasses clinical work, sales, marketing, and management at Meditech, Eli Lilly, and Boston Scientific. Notably, Katie was instrumental in the clinical training and international commercialization of the first FDA-approved Left Atrial Appendage Closure Device. In her role as a Principal Product Marketing Manager at Boston Scientific, she was pivotal in introducing digital health solutions to hospitals across the country.

Director of In-Clinic Solutions

Jess Rizzo, CCDS

Jessica, in her role as the Director of In-Clinic Solutions at PrepMD, places a strong emphasis on clinical accuracy and patient outcomes, ensuring excellence in every aspect of her work. She collaborates with device clinics nationwide, tackling staffing and efficiency challenges through PrepMD’s unique In-Clinic Solutions. Her journey in cardiac rhythm management started over a decade ago when she was a student at PrepMD. Advancing through her career, she joined Biotronik, initially working in the San Francisco Bay area and later in Connecticut, where she distinguished herself as a Senior Field Clinical Specialist – Mentor. Residing in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters, and a cherished assortment of pets, Jessica actively pursues her passions for horseback riding, gardening, and hiking, finding joy in these pursuits during her personal time.

Director of National Accounts

Fran Moriarty

As the Director of National Accounts at PrepMD, Fran collaborates with device clinics, focusing on developing tailored healthcare solutions that effectively address their staffing and efficiency challenges. Prior to this, he led the product development and market launch strategies for PrepMD’s Digital Training Solutions and oversaw the operations for the In-Clinic Solutions initiative. With a rich background of 11 years in the cardiac medical device industry, Fran’s expertise covers clinical engineering, sales, and territory management with leading companies like Boston Scientific, Biotronik, and CardioFocus. His responsibilities have encompassed business development, key account management, product commercialization, and clinical trial operations, as well as extensive involvement in a multitude of cardiac procedures and device clinic operations.

Director of Customer Success

Kent Seckinger, CCDS

As the Director of Customer Success at PrepMD, Kent leads a team dedicated to collaborating with existing device clinic accounts, striving to enhance patient care outcomes. His career in cardiac devices has been divided between roles as an industry field technical support specialist and a clinical cardiac device specialist. Kent is driven by his ambition to assist cardiac device clinics in discovering new efficiencies and elevating patient care standards. His most notable achievement is the tangible success he has brought to clients in these areas. Residing in Atlanta, GA, Kent Seckinger takes pleasure in music, cherishing moments with family and friends, and he boasts a notable talent for playing the drums.

Director of Clinical Operations

Keith Nicholson, CCDS

-University of Richmond-
In his role at PrepMD, Keith heads the remote monitoring service operations team, focusing on optimizing workflows for both clients and employees, with a steadfast commitment to patient care. With over a decade of experience in the CRM industry and an IBHRE® Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) credential, Keith’s expertise is extensive. He began his journey as part of PrepMD’s inaugural class in 2010 and subsequently joined Boston Scientific as a Principal Field Clinical Specialist in Virginia and New York. His tenure there until 2019 involved covering clinics and implants and contributing significantly to critical clinical trials like MultiSENSE, NAVIGATE X4, and Samurai. Keith returned to PrepMD in 2019, bringing his wealth of experience back to the team. He currently resides near Savannah, GA with his wife, two sons, and their beloved Labrador retriever.

Eric London

As the Director of Engineering at PrepMD, Eric London leads the development of the cutting-edge PrepMD Cardiac Data Management Software, vital for device clinics. His expertise spans full-stack application development, RESTful API development, and systems integration. Eric’s proficiency in a wide range of languages and frameworks, including Ruby, JavaScript, and React, complements his deep knowledge in server technologies like Amazon AWS. With a tenure that includes roles at Atlantis Technology and Arcadia.io, Eric’s robust experience enriches PrepMD’s tech initiatives, driving innovation in healthcare technology.

Business Manager

Devon Hathaway

In his present position, Devon manages the daily business operations of all three PrepMD entities and additionally contributes to Human Resources tasks. Devon’s diverse background, which includes years of experience with professional and collegiate sports teams, and his recent tenure at a connected fitness startup in Boston, equips him with a distinctive viewpoint for his role at PrepMD. His expertise lies in handling customer relationships and enhancing efficiency by effectively collaborating across various business functions.

Frank brings a rich portfolio of executive-level human resources expertise to PrepMD, excelling in areas such as recruitment, legal compliance, employee relations, and policy administration. His pivotal role becomes increasingly vital as PrepMD expands its healthcare solutions, encompassing remote monitoring and in-clinic staffing. With a solid foundation of over 25 years in senior human resource management, Frank’s diverse experience spans across multiple industries, including medical devices, energy, and capital equipment in the semiconductor sector, enriching PrepMD’s growth and development.
